Webinar: Piloting the Linux Terminal


Navigating shell systems is a foundational skill for computer security professionals. Adversaries and administrators alike can remotely control a computer through its terminal interface using protocols such as SSH. This is a critical skill you’ll want to have be it on blue or red team, and in this presentation, we’ll introduce foundational terminal navigation and operation concepts on a Ubuntu Linux system.

[Speaker Bio]
David is a cybersecurity instructor based in Seattle. The principal curriculum developer of the first ever Code Fellows cyber ops bootcamp, David holds a masters degree in Cybersecurity & Information Assurance and has completed a number of certifications including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and CompTIA Security+. When not teaching, David volunteers for Cybersecurity Non-Profit (CSNP) in an effort to provide career resources and create pathways for aspiring cyber professionals of tomorrow.
